Let’s talk about *one* of the ways your Spirit Guides - and your loved ones in Spirit - EASILY speak to you across the veil.
MUSIC…more importantly, music lyrics.
I’ve always considered music to be a higher calling for gifted people, especially those to write their lyrics and put the music to the words. The tune itself catches on and the words live there.
My wife has an unnatural ability to hear the first couple of seconds of a song and know immediately what the song is…especially if it’s from the 80’s. I once was so fascinated by her ability that we sat in bed on a Friday night with my Apple music account (or itunes) while I randomly selected dozens of songs, played 2-3 seconds and she spouted out the song titles. My late Aunt Barbara had a similar freakish ability for songs from the 60’s and 70’s. What made her so cute was that if she heard a line of a song being spoken in an actual conversation nearby she’d immediately belt out the song, eyes squinted, face passionately contorted into the notes inside her head.
So we all have *some* songs that live within our core databank/song catalog memory because for most of us, songs have played around us and for us since we were born. Many families too will play their loved ones favorite music for them when they are near death and/or dying. Music is part of our whole Earthly experience.
Music contains us, and provides us confort when we can’t come up with our own words. Even those of us who generally have no trouble expressing emotions or saying feelings, can be surprised and delighted by song lyrics that describe a particular emotion or situation better than we could.
I even named my daughter after a song. They’re that important.
Spirit understands this, and they know where the notes and memory of sounds live in our heads, and furthermore just when we need reminders of the sentiments those lyrics and lines express.
Throughout the day today, I asked my own Spirit Guide for a sign. I didn’t ask for anything in particular - just a sign that whatever this ick feeling I had would be okay.
Mind you, today I’m not at home. My environment is quiet. There is no music playing around me…
…and suddenly…hours after I’d asked…
I caught myself singing Three Little Birds (Everything’s Gonna Be Alright) by Bob Marley. This is not a song on any of my playlists and I don’t believe I’ve heard it recently. But prompted by nothing in my world, there it was playing in my mind.
Ah ha. Message received!
So. When you wake up with a song in your head, or you’re just going about your day and you start randomly singing a particular song…these are to be counted as messages. They are to comfort you, encourage you, and give you strength.
