The Medical Medium Cleanse

Updated: Aug 25, 2020

I’m pretty sure I lost somewhere between 2-3 pounds yesterday on my first day of the Medical Medium cleanse. Today is Day 2. It’s super hard not to eat any of the “troublemaker” foods, so after the morning lemon water and celery juice, I ate a whole papaya, a steamed potato and some steamed asparagus, several dates, a small apple, and the heavy metal detox smoothie which was the yuck moment of the day. I may follow the same diet today.

I’m doing this for multiple reasons.

1. To lose weight and to reduce the chronic pain I have from chronic Epstein-Barr infection. The infection is too high to measure on every lab test I take. And it hurts. All. The. Time.

2. To unclog my liver. Our livers are our filer. Anyone ever had a fish tank? What happens when you don’t clean the filter? You CANNOT lose weight with a clogged liver. I’m a perfect example - how many miles have I ran in the last 6 years and not lost weight? You also cannot fight off infection and disease with a crapped out liver. You don’t have to have “bad” liver labs to have a problem.

3. To be more high vibe. Foods have a vibration. Everything is energy, including the foods we eat. How do you think the vibration in a pack of fries compares to the vibe in a steamed potato with nothing added to it? The higher vibe I am, the clearer headed I am to do the important work I have to do (ER, mediumship, reiki).

4. To heal my body. Why should I spend the last half of my life SICK? Not feeling my best everyday? We all deserve to be well and happy. Not nervous, anxious, afraid, and in chronic pain that no one can see. We deserve to live our lives fully engaged, fully present, and emotionally okay. We don’t yet have an understanding of how all these chemicals and metals and low nutrition foods have shaped us into one of the most chronically ill cultures worldwide.

It’s time to allow myself the ability to heal. I’ve never mentally accepted the fact that it had to be this way for the rest of my days. The moment I learned I had an autoimmune disease back in 2014, I signed up for my first half-marathon.

Now, I take my refusal to be sick one giant step further.
